Karakia

This term we have also been learning about Karakia. Every morning who ever is on the Paepae (Karakia) goes and oranises what they are going to say. If your on the job Karakia you go and choose a Karakia off the board such as Karanga Karanga.The next job is Waiata so the person who ever is on this job they choose a song and tell the teacher the song so they can get ready and put on the tv screen for every body to see. the next thing on the Paepae is Pepeha so the y stand up and say their pepeha (where their from, who's their parents ect.) Then there is Panui so if any one has any news they can share it with the whanau.then the last one some one gets up and says a what whanaungatanga, manaakitanga means to them then they ma te tuakana.
